About Me

I started Georgia Tent Company in 1996 after the Summer Olympics in Atlanta. I helped start another tent company in 1992 named USA Marquee. We did so well during the Olympics that I was able to buy my partner out and another tent business that was started by Georgia Tent and Awning just for the Olympics.

They approached me with the agreement that if I ran their tent rental division for six months and fulfilled the jobs they had on the books, they would sell me the whole new inventory of tents, tables, and chairs; and keep the name Georgia Tent Company .
